Since I have almost 1TB of very important information in these external disk driver, Can you please help me solving this problem? I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! After upgrade my macbook pro to macOs sierra 10.12.1, my external hard disk toshiba canvio II stop working properly, it is recognised in the Finder window but is 'read only” even after install Tuxera NTFS (version 2014) for Mac that came with the external disk. Version included with the Canvio II I bought was 2014, which doesn't work with macOS Sierra.
